The USA Powerlifting Ohio Hall of Fame was created to recognize members whose accomplishments have set them apart and elevated the sport of Powerlifting in Ohio.

Greg Page
For many many years, Greg WAS USA Powerlifting Ohio. He was our State Chair for over 20 years, and has been a member of the USA Powerlifting Executive Committee for many years as well.
A multi-time National and World Champion, Greg can always be found lending a hand at meets or mentoring lifters.
As National Meet Chair, he is the workhorse behind Open and Raw Nationals.
Joe Marksteiner
Joe’s accomplishments and contributions to USA Powerlifting and Ohio are simply too numerous to list here. His greatest accomplishment (in our humble opinion) is the development of the NextLifter software, which brought powerlifting competition scoring out of the stone age. He has donated hundreds of hours of his time into refining the software and providing support at no charge to meet directors worldwide.
Joe is a Category 1 IPF Referee and a multi-time Team USA member and holds several National and World titles.
Ron Dues
Ron has quietly been helping organize, run, and support competitions for longer than almost anyone. Never seeking the spotlight, no job is too big or small for him. It’s not an exaggeration to say that the USA Powerlifting events at the Arnold Sports Festival would not happen without him.
Class of 2019
Eric Curry
Eric has been a fixture at USA Powerlifting competitions for many years. He has travelled far and wide to help at the highest level of competitions and has developed a reputation as the greatest bench hand off specialist in the sport handling numerous American and World record attempts, several of which have been over 1,000 pounds.
Frank King
Ed King
Ed and Frank were instrumental in helping to build USA Powerlifting Ohio into what it is today. They promoted the State Championship for over 25 years as well as promoting several National Championships and a World Championship. Many of our members train in their gym to this day.
